Usui/Tibetan Reiki Training
Sylvia M. DeSantis is approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (NCBTMB) as a Continuing Education, Approved Provider.
Whether you're new to energywork or interested in deepening your existing practice, Reiki training can be a life-affirming and uplifting experience.
Sylvia teaches from the Usui/Tibetan Reiki tradition, and provides participants an opportunity to learn Reiki in a safe and nonjudgmental healing space through meditation, open discourse, hands-on practice, demonstration, and collaborative practice.
Reiki training is perfectly suited for both people interested in learning how to create wellness, as well as bodyworkers (massage therapists, yoga instructors, etc) looking to incorporate reiki into an existing protocol. All participants receive certificates of completion. Continuing Education certificates are available.
Students from other lineages who began Reiki training elsewhere are always welcome. Classes are offered throughout the year and by request.
Reiki I & II (12 CEs)
Classes may be taken separately or as a bundle (save $7)
If you’ve ever wondered about energy work, this weekend workshop is for you! No experience required.
This all-inclusive weekend workshop is the first step on the reiki path. Reiki I (Saturday) provides foundational knowledge in energy healing through a joyful classroom experience! Learn how to use reiki effectively for self-healing, as well as enhancing the well-being of friends, family, and even pets.
Reiki II (Sunday) introduces and discusses the first three Reiki symbols--the Power Symbol, the Mental/Emotional Symbol, and the Distant Healing Symbol. Students will offer and receive complete treatments combining other, slightly advanced Reiki components.
Students receive Reiki I and Reiki II attunements as well as certificate of completion. Reiki I is a prerequisite for Reiki II.

Animal Reiki I
If you love animals, volunteer in shelters or rescue organizations, or simply want the best quality of life for your own pets, Animal Reiki I is the ideal workshop for you! No experience required.
Animal Reiki I provides foundational knowledge in energy healing through a classroom experience that focuses primarily on animal companions, both domestic and wild. You will learn how to use reiki energy safely and effectively for self-healing, as well as practical approaches and guidance in using reiki with animals of all kinds. Class exercises and guided meditations focus exclusively on animal wellness. Students receive a Reiki I attunement and certificate of completion.

Advanced Reiki Training (ART) (6 CEs)

ART gently combines components of Reiki I and II while introducing the Usui Master Symbol and its uses. In ART, students participate in guided reiki meditations, learn how to make and use reiki crystal grids, experience the ART attunement and, upon completion, receive an ART certificate. Reiki II is a required prerequisite for ART.

This two-day, Master-Level intensive is the culmination of Usui/Tibetan Reiki training and includes the Master Attunement, the Healing Attunement, the final two Tibetan symbols, and the time and space to learn how to attune students as a Master-level practitioner oneself.
These days of gentle practice, experiential work, slow meditation, and deep inquiry encourage students to fine tune their own approach to reiki, as well as better understand and become comfortable with giving attunements and teaching others in the Reiki tradition. ART is a required prerequisite for Master Training.
